Following the The [[http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPressTest Web Server#Detailed_Instructions Detailed Instructions] to install WordPress was enough to get me started. I installed the wordpress directory under (3/var14/lib/wordpress and then made 2016)|test web server]] had a symlink from /var/www/blog to /var/lib/wordpress (much like how pretty easy time installing WordPress alongside the existing mediawiki was done) site, so it seems that http://128.42.44.22/blog points to we'll use WP for the WP blogon this web server as well.
