#All papers were manually classified into groups and bibtex entry tagging was performed
We are currently conducting step 5 of this processand are using the workflow below to do so.
Original Sample
Likewise, Textpad can view text either line wrapped or not (Cntl-q w to toggle), change selected text to Sentence Case (Cntl-Shift-u), lower case (Cntl-l), etc. It also supports block select mode, which is sometimes helpful.
Workflow
The workflow is based on four wiki pages. We can recover 'lost' data from these pages, but I suggest that at the start of work the pages are copied into text file (get the text using the edit button at the top of the relevant page and copying out the window) and saved on a local machine and then at the end of the work process the contents of the pages are submitted back to the wiki (again using a page edit).
The four pages are:
#PTLR Annotated BibTeX Master
#PTLR Up Group Candidate Filename
#PTLR Up Group Processed BibTeX
#PTLR Non-Up Group Filename
#PTLR Thicket Definition
The PTLR Annotated BibTeX Master page contains BibTeX entries (in approximate alphabetical order by author) followed by comments and extracted text made during the preliminary classification. The PTLR Up Group Candidate Filename page contains filenames for files that can be found in the drop box folder which are currently marked as candidates for the up group. For each filename listed in this page, find the corresponding entry in the BibTeX Master page and:
*if it is an up group member amend it to include the new tags and fill them by searching through the paper. Searching the pdf (Cntl-f) for the term 'thicket' to find thicket stance and definition is recommended. Remove the entry and any notes from the annotated file, and include the amended and completed entry (without further notes) in the PTLR Up Group Processed BibTeX page.
*or, if it isn't an up group member, don't do anything to it's BibTeX entry (or its notes) in the Master file, and just add the filename to the PTLR Non-Up Group Filename page.
To get the process started, I've 'completed' some entries in the PTLR Up Group Processed BibTeX page. However, with the exception of the first one, they need reviewing and filling out properly. Hopefully what I've done will give you a feel for what should be done... but it will still need re-doing. We should also keep a running list of the thicket definitions we've used (and try to standardize) them on the PTLR Thicket Definition page.
