$ git clone https://github.com/padams/Open-Web-Analytics.git
$ cd /var/lib/mediawiki/extensions
$ cp -r ~/Downloads/Open-Web-Analytics ./OpenWebAnalyticsowa
edit LocalSettings.php and add the following line:
require_once("$IP/'extensions/OpenWebAnalyticsowa/mw_plugin.php"');
Go to the list of Special Pages on the mediawiki and click on the Open Web Analytics special page to install OWA.
