Rice Conversations

Rice Conversations aims to help increase Rice students’ exposure to startup culture and involvement with entrepreneurial activities. We help students understand what it is like to work at a startup by organizing bi-weekly lunches where experienced entrepreneurs chat with curious students on Rice campus. Rice Conversations is also affiliated with the Entrepreneurship courses at Jones Business School. We provide an environment for students to have conversations about entrepreneurship beyond classrooms. We would bring in entrepreneurs who participate in Entrepreneurship courses projects to discuss their progresses and experts who have overcome similar challenges to talk about their solutions. In addition, Rice Conversations strives to be the information distribution center of all entrepreneurship events and opportunities available to Rice students and a platform where students with the same interest in entrepreneurship meet each other.
