8/22/2017 14:00-16:00: Discovered that LinkedIn Profiles cannot be viewed through LinkedIn if the target is 3rd degree or further. However, if entering LinkedIn through a Google search, the profile can still be viewed if the user has previously logged into LinkedIn. Devising a workaround crawler that utilizes Google search. 8/23/2017 14:00-15:30: Decided with Ed to abandon LinkedIn crawling to retrieve accelerator founder data, and instead use crunchbase. Spent the day navigating the crunchbasebulk database, and seeing what useful information was contained in it.
