Meghana Gaur
Meghana Gaur is a 20 year old Rice student working as a Research Assistant for the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy's McNair Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She is a junior at Rice University and a member of Lovett College. Originally from Austin, Texas, Meghana graduated from Lake Travis High School in 2015.

Early Life
Meghana was born in Chicago, Illinois to parents Sunita Gaur and Yogesh Gaur. Sunita is an internal medicine physician for Austin Regional Clinic, and Yogesh is a software engineer for Eyelock. Meghana moved from Chicago to Austin, Texas when she was only two months old and has lived in Austin for the rest of her life with her family. Her older sister Priyanka graduated from Lake Travis High School in 2012 and received her BS in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT in 2015. Currently Priyanka is attending Southwestern Medical School and a first year medical student.
Education
Meghana graduated second in her class from Lake Travis High School (as did her sister Priyanka) in 2015. Meghana is studying Mathematical Economic Analysis, and pursuing a minor in Statistics. Upon graduation, Meghana hopes to attend a graduate program in economics.

Meghana worked as intern for the McNair Center throughout the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 academic years. Meghana worked as an intern for Duty to Serve Program in the Office of Housing and Community and investment at the Federal Housing Finance Agency this past summer.
