Rice Launch [1] is a student-run campus organization designed to introduce prospective entrepreneurs to available resources within Rice and Houston communities. The club originated in 2013 when three different entrepreneurship clubs, OwlSquad, Rice Business Collaborative - Entrepreneurship and Rice Sprout, combined.[2] Notable for co-hosting 3 Day Startup, Entrepreneurship Summit, and the Owl Open, Rice Launch collaborates with OwlSpark and University of Houston's RED Labs.

Events
3 Day Startup
The 3 Day Startup is a week-end event held during the month of October at TMCx[3]. The event is meant to allow Rice Univeristy students with an entrepreneurial idea to aggressively start the process of product creation while developing connections with other students and local entrepreneurs.
Application for the event opens in the fall semester, and closes by the end of September.

3 Day Startup looks for teams with positions relating, but not limited to:[4]

- Legal
Entrepreneurship Summit
The Entrepreneurship Summit is held during the month of February[5]. The one-day event targets potential entrepreneurs seeking to learn more about the start-up process through workshops and panels.
Registration begins in January, and is advertised through the Rice Launch website, as well as its Facebook page.
