Service Corps Of Retired Executives (SCORE) is a network of over 10,000 volunteers who, through 360 chapters nationwide, offer small business entrepreneurs business counseling advice at no charge for all stages of business, from conception to growth. Their work is supported by the Small Business Administration (SBA). The Houston chapter of SCORE was founded in 1965. Since its conception, SCORE Houston has accumulated over 100 volunteers spanning 10 counties around the Houston area. They help address management challenges, banking, marketing, general legal advice, data and analytic collection advice.
